The Design Process
From your blank wall to an extraordinary painted mural, step-by-step.
Discovery Call
Every project begins with a conversation. We discuss your visual ideas, inspiration photos, wall dimensions, surface texture, and budget. Kristen helps guide what layout formats will best fit your space.
Expected duration: 15–30 minutes. What to prepare: rough wall width/height, inspiration images, lighting details.
Concept Development
Kristen drafts custom concept layouts tailored precisely to the architectural features of your room (outlets, light fixtures, windows, furniture placement). We map colors to coordinate with your branding or room decor.
Expected duration: 1–2 weeks. Deliverable: Digital scale mockups overlaid on photos of your physical wall.
Design Approval
We review the sketches together. Kristen accommodates edits on colors, details, and scaling. Once the final mockup is approved and contract signed, we block calendar dates for the on-site painting phase.
Deliverable: Approved layout schematic, color specification sheet, and finalize project scheduling.
On-Site Painting
Kristen arrives on-site to paint. We protect your floors, baseboards, and furniture using drop cloths and painters tape. Kristen paints with high-quality, low-odor paints so children or customers can comfortably occupy the surrounding building.
Expected duration: 1–5 days depending on complexity and scale. Clean workspace maintained daily.
The Reveal
The tape is pulled, the floors are cleaned, and the space is completely transformed. Your mural is complete, ready to inspire students, welcome commercial customers, or comfort your family for years to come.
Deliverable: Final walkthrough, maintenance guidelines, and photoshoot of the transformed wall.
